We all use some form of transport everyday. Exploring different aspects of 'getting moving' from a STEM perspective, these projects provide ideas to engage with a variety of different forms of transport, often in unfamiliar contexts. They link the different areas of STEM: science, technology. engineering and mathematics to simple machines and laws of motion, tips on harnessing energy, suggestions for further use and background subject knowledge to support learning. The resources support the teaching of everyday STEM applications, also supporting early ideas around forces.
